172. Johann Christian Bujer was born about 1639 in Essendorf bei Luneburg, Hannover, Prussia, Germany. He died on 19 Feb 1708 in Brackenheim, Württemberg, Germany. He has Ancestral File number 23NC-5XH. He was a mayor. Christian Bujer is the son of Arnold Bujer [c1615- ] of whom we know nothing. Either of these persons might be classified as the last of this birth line on whom information is available. In the book on the town of Botenheim [1] there is mention of Christian Bujer as a school official, a ["scultetus?"], caretaker or correspondent. The death date of 1708 is also confirmed.

We do not know the town of his birth but he died in Brackenheim on 19 Feb, 1708. Brackenheim is near Botenheim, thereby apparently allowing Christian to be an early "commuter" to work in Botenheim schools. As the author remembers, there may be 2-3 miles between the two communities; did he walk this distance or ride a horse, or was the "school district" a large area which also included the town of Brackenheim?

He married Magdalena Steckenreith on 8 Nov 1664. She was born 21 Apr 1646 and died 12 Apr 1675 at the young age of 29. One wonders why this person and her siblings died at such a young age! The only known issue from this marriage is Wilhelm Ludwig Bujer [1670-1747], as shown via the chart on page 12-29.

Magdalena was a daughter of Michael Steckenreith [c1620- ] and wife Magdalena [c1622- ]. No other information is available for this couple. From this marriage issued:

-Magdalena, the youngest of the three daughters, who married the subject of this biography, Christian Bujer.

-Anna Rosina Steckenreith [1647-1686] married George Lutz.

-Ursula Marie [1644-1691] is the oldest of the Steckenrieth sisters. She married Hans Bühler [Bihler] in 1664. Note Ursula died at the age of 47, the oldest of the three ladies in this Steckenreith family. [2][3]

The complete life span information on the Steckenreith parents is not available but we note that the children of these sisters all had a relatively long life which might lead us to believe that these three had a particularly difficult life and the life span was not a hereditary problem. He was married to Anna Elisabeth Fesenbeck on 26 Oct 1675 in Brackenheim, Württemberg, Germany. This was his second marriage.

173. Anna Elisabeth Fesenbeck was born on 14 Dec 1649 in Brackenheim, Württemberg, Germany. Children were:
